Role of Mentors
- A mentor is the one who has continuous engagement with a student’s academic and personal growth and works at an individual level to develop the student from all the angles.
- Personal, psychological, emotional, mental, physical, aesthetic and spiritual.
- The role of a mentor is far more complex and demanding than that of teacher, for he or she has to teach advice, support, prescribe, inspire, improvise, probe, listen, relate, clarify and affirm.
- The mentor must perform as a role model, working with empathy and vision to create citizens of the future.
